“Check out this company, they make hair ties for guys.” Like many of you, the first time I heard of The Longhairs, my homie Sean (you might know him as Elefante) used a similar phrase. I had no idea my friend’s simple recommendation would put me on a path to getting hired at The Longhairs.

It was a foregone conclusion we’d get the bound shears tattooed someday, El Moreno and me. For us it’s been The Longhairs for life since the beginning. When, where, what exactly it would look like—no one knew, nor was there a particular urgency.

In September 2020 we expanded The Longhairs headquarters. Transforming our existing office into a complete warehouse, shipping and fulfillment center, we acquired a new space about the same size in the adjacent building.
