It’s been a little while since we’ve seen old Gustavo around these parts. The last time we checked in with the hair ties for guys designer, he shared a few of his awkward stage hair tips with us. Now he’s deep in his long hair journey and we wanted an update.

El Gustavo cruised up to the South Bay Longhairs HQ from Tijuana to sit down with El Moreno over a couple beers and talked shop.

El Moreno is the Co-Founder & President of The Longhairs. Since embracing his mane in 2012, he has authored over 140 insightful articles and featured in numerous videos and podcasts, becoming a pivotal voice in the long hair community. He shaved his head and donated all his hair at The Great Cut in 2019 and again in 2024. Beyond his flowing locks, El Moreno is a devoted husband and father with a passion for adventure with his loved ones.
