It’s been no short or easy path. But we walked down that hallway. And we pitched.

For many of us in the U.S. celebrating Thanksgiving, it’s a time for family, friends, food and even football, with thousands of pickup flag football games kicking off this crisp autumn Thursday morning across the country.

Some of you have wanted to get to know El Moreno and El Rubio, the founders of The Longhairs, a little better. We come bearing good news: now, you can.

In July of 2017, El Rubio attempted to set a world record for most consecutive days of hair whips from within the Grand Canyon.

You may have noticed the past six or 50 weeks have been monumentally epic blog posts. Pretty much like Steph raining threes from seven feet behind the arc.

It’s been a little while since we’ve seen old Gustavo around these parts. The last time we checked in with the hair ties for guys designer, he shared a few of his awkward stage hair tips with us. Now he’s deep in his long hair journey and we wanted an update.

In a sad coincidence, El Moreno and El Rubio both lost grandparents in the last week.

You probably haven’t thought much about this guy’s long hair, or his struggle. That’s because there are things you simply don’t think about unless you are a man with long hair.

Whatever their motive, each of these warriors had one thing in common: they graced the fields of battle with long tresses, streaming locks and flowing manes. These captains, chiefs and commanders represent the greatest longhair warriors of all-time.

You might not have noticed before. When you had short hair, it rarely caught your attention.
