We are pleased to present the entries we’ve received in the Hair Ties For Guys Design Contest & Community Showcase. 16 design collections were submitted, along with 10 individual hair tie designs.

March 16, 2019 was an historic day. The Great Cut had successfully donated 339 pounds of hair to Children With Hair Loss, breaking the world record for the most hair donated to charity in 24 hours.

Matt Heinz is a professional tattoo artist, which isn’t a part-time job, or even a full-time job. It’s a full-time life—much like long hair, which Matt has, so you could say he’s working overtime.

Did you know we first launched Hair Ties For Guys in 2014 with just six collections? There was no sleeve or branding, you could see the stitches, we didn’t have a black collection or even any solids.

Founded in 2014, a good part of The Longhairs’ early story is told in Blog Post #156: Three Years Long and Strong. The essence of that post was that if you do something for 156 weeks in a row, good things are going to happen.

All El Rubio wanted for his birthday was Santa Claus, long hair and good friends. You might remember Santa’s first appearance on The Longhairs podcast, Christmas Eve 2018. Turns out the egg nog and plentiful cheer caused major delays in the Christmas operation, and Santa had to tighten things up in 2019.

This Black Friday we are launching the biggest sale of the year.

On November 2, 2019, Children With Hair Loss hosted their 15th annual Charity Ball in Livonia, Michigan.

After more than six months of hair growth, El Moreno believed he was making strong progress. The satisfaction was short-lived as he soon learned fellow hair donor from The Great Cut and community member El Suavecito has outpaced him by a long shot.
